Ingredients for making Rajasthani Makki Ka Dhokla-
– 1 cup corn flour
-1/2 cup peas (grated)
-2 green chilies
1 inch ginger, chopped
– red chili powder as per taste
-1/2 tsp saunf
-2 tbsp green coriander
-1/2 tsp black mustard seeds
-1/2 tsp turmeric powder
-1/2 tsp coriander powder
– salt to taste
-tsp baking soda
-2 tsp oil
-3-4 curry leaves
Method to make Rajasthani Makki Dhokla-
To make Rajasthani Makki Ka Dhokla, first take a big vessel and add corn flour, red chili powder, cumin, fennel, turmeric powder and coriander powder in it. Now add green peas, finely chopped green chilies, baking soda and coriander leaves to this mixture. After this, gradually adding water to it, knead a soft dough and keep it aside for 10-15 minutes.
Now break small balls from this dough and make round balls and make a hole in it with the help of your finger in the middle. Now steam the dhoklas for another 10-15 minutes or till they become soft and spongy. Your Rajasthani Makki Dhokla is ready. Serve it with moong dal and mint chutney.
