On the second day on Saturday, the UNESCO team along with the officials of the Municipal Corporation Jaipur Heritage visited the city’s quartet Vishambhar ji for four hours. Professor Ninja Young and Mustir Paul, members of the UNESCO team, after looking at the old havelis, houses, doors and windows of the city, said that the heritage of Jaipur city is much better than Europe, but it needs to be protected in a better way through mutual coordination. The members of the UNESCO team started their tour from Hanuman ji’s path, Groom’s House Road, Ramlal ji’s way, Bapu Bazar, Tripolia Bazar, Glass window, Johri Bazar and old windows, doors, electricity. He expressed great happiness after seeing the arrangement of water conservation, seating area in the square of the havelis, the painting being done on the doors and windows. He said that along with keeping these old architectural art alive, it should be preserved with the cooperation of the general public to show it to the visiting tourists. During the visit of the UNESCO team, Deputy Commissioner of Vigilance, Jaipur Heritage, Neel Kamal Meena, Additional Chief Town Planner Shashikant, OSD Giriraj Agarwal, Advisor to the Self-Government Department, Chandrashekhar Parashar, Coordinator of Municipal Corporation Heritage were present.
