The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) accused the Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party of manipulating votes in Delhi to win the upcoming assembly elections.
BJP’s Delhi unit president Virendra Sachdeva, at a press conference, shared voter figures from the last Lok Sabha and Assembly elections and claimed that lakhs of minority voters have been added to the voter list.
He claimed that many Hindu landlords in Tughlakabad and Kalkaji constituencies have complained that many people from the minority community have been registered as voters.
BJP leaders also presented the complainants of Tughlakabad in the press conference.
District Election Officer cum District Magistrate of South-East Delhi said in a post on ‘X’ that the issues raised by the BJP in the press conference are being investigated by the concerned electoral registration officer.
