In contact with Amit Shah Omar Abdullah, BSF instructions to ensure security measures at the border

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has spoken to Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah. The tension between India and Pakistan has increased after Operation Sindoor. Operation Sindoor has been started by the Indian Army in response to the horrific Pahalgam terror attack.

The Union Home Minister is constantly in touch with the Lieutenant Governor (LG) of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha and the Director General of the Border Security Force (BSF). Shah has instructed DG BSF to ensure all security measures for people living in the border areas.

Meanwhile, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha reviewed the situation of the border districts of Jammu and Kashmir this morning.

He has directed the district that collectors have been instructed to transfer villagers from sensitive areas and ensure availability of essential services.

The office of Lieutenant Governor (J&K) posted on X, “I have also instructed DC to transfer villagers from sensitive areas to safe places and ensure food, housing, food, medical and transportation. We will ensure the safety of every citizen. Jai Hind!”

Sinha said that the government is ready to deal with any situation.

He said, “All senior administrative, police and district officials including DCs of all border districts took stock of the situation in the border districts of Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory. I am closely monitoring the situation and the government is fully prepared to deal with any situation.”

Earlier in the day, Shah had said that India is committed to eradicating terrorism. He praised the army for starting ‘Operation Sindoor’ in response to the horrific terrorist attack in Pahalgam, in which 26 people lost their lives and many were injured. The Union Home Minister said that the Narendra Modi government is committed to respond to any attack on Indian citizens.

Shah wrote on X, “We are proud of our armed forces. Operation Sindoor Pahalgam has a reply to the brutal murder of our innocent brothers. The Modi government is committed to give a befitting reply to any attack on India and its people. India is fully committed to ending terrorism.”

These accurate attacks have been carried out by targeting Pakistan’s terrorist infrastructure. N India has taken the biggest action in the undisputed sector of Pakistan since 1971, in which terrorist camps have been successfully targeted in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir. This is New Delhi’s largest military action in the Pakistani region in the last five decades.
