Sandhya’s mother-in-law and Anujesh’s mother Urmila Devi has been the Samajwadi Party MLA from Ghiror assembly seat of Mainpuri. Sandhya Yadav is currently in BJP.

Sandhya Yadav and her husband Anujesh Yadav had joined BJP even before the 2022 UP Assembly elections. If seen in this way, BJP had given a big blow to SP before the assembly elections. What is the equation of Karhal assembly seat?
Karhal assembly seat of Mainpur district is a Yadav dominated seat. The total number of voters here is 3,75,000. If we talk about caste equation here, there are 1,30,000 Yadav voters in Karhal Assembly. According to estimates, there are 60,000 Scheduled Caste voters on this seat. Along with this, there are 50,000 Shakyas, 30,000 Thakurs, 30,000 Pal-Baghels, 25,000 Muslims, 20,000 Lodhis, 20,000 Brahmins and 15,000 Bania community voters. Samajwadi Party has been winning many elections on this seat continuously. But this time the competition may be tough and the result may also be shocking.
