Who will be the next Chief Minister of Delhi, today BJP Legislature Party meeting will be stamped

The newly elected MLAs of BJP can meet for the selection of the new Chief Minister of the capital Delhi on Monday i.e. today. Party sources said that the BJP’s national leadership will send its supervisor for the Legislature Party meeting, in which the House leader will be elected in the Delhi Assembly. The leader of the House will be the new Chief Minister of Delhi.

Sources also said that the new government in the national capital is likely to be formed with the swearing-in ceremony of the Chief Minister and the Council of Ministers around 19-20 February. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) came to power in Delhi after a gap of more than 26 years after winning the assembly elections held on 5 February. This ended the 10 -year rule of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Delhi.

The saffron party won 48 out of 70 assembly seats in the capital. The names of several newly elected MLAs for the post of Chief Minister and Minister are in discussion. Pravesh Verma, who is considered to be at the forefront of the top post, was included, who defeated AAP supremo and former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in the election from New Delhi seat, and former Delhi BJP president Vijendra Gupta and Satish Upadhyay. Pawan Sharma, Ashish Sood, Rekha Gupta and Shikha Rai are also contenders for the post of Chief Minister. Many people in the party believe that BJP leadership like Rajasthan, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha and Chhattisgarh can also bet on one of the newly elected MLAs.
