Deputy Superintendent of Police AK Patel said, ‘Eight madrasa students escaped on Monday and sought help from the passengers of the train going to Udaipur. On the basis of the complaint, the Pranj police have registered an FIR against three madrasa teachers for beating minor students and keeping them closed in the premises. Minor students told us that they were beaten for minor reasons and were not allowed to go out of the premises.

Accused madrasa teachers have been identified. He is named Mufti Yusuf, Maulvi Mohammad Anas Memon and Maulvi Mohammad Fahad. Police said that a case has been registered against the accused teachers under the assault, wrongly hostage and related sections of the Juvenile Justice Act.
