Ahmedabad: There are incidents of chain snatching in the city. The people of Ahmedabad are living in fear of chain snatchers, they are afraid that the chain should not be taken away from their neck. People often think that there are different chain-snatching gangs that target pedestrians and motorists. Meanwhile, a young man has come under the arrest of the Ghatlodia police, who carried out a chain snatching incident for his girlfriend, not for a gang, but for his girlfriend.
Woman’s neck snatched chain
In fact, Pradyuman Singh (25), who lives in a rented house in Jai Ambenagar Society of Thaltej area, is currently in police custody. Pradyuman Singh snatched the chain from a woman’s neck a few days ago. On the night of 25 January, 65 -year -old Vasantiben Iyer, a resident of Rajvi Tower, Memnagar, was walking on foot. Then a young man broke a chain of two and a half tolas from his neck with a chain cutter and ran away. In this case, Vasantiben lodged a complaint with the Ghatlodia police station. Police arrested Pradyuman Singh after investigation.
Former MLA is father
During interrogation, he told that he is a resident of Malheda village in Neemuch district of Madhya Pradesh. Her father Vijendra Singh Chandrawat is a former MLA from Madhya Pradesh. Pradyuman Singh was bored of the house, so he came to Ahmedabad and was living in a rented house. Pradyuman Singh was living by working on a salary of 15 thousand rupees. Pradyuman Singh fell in love with a girl, which increased her expenses. The woman is from Ahmedabad, which the police is investigating. He decided to do chain snatching as a shortcut to spend the girlfriend’s expenses. Meanwhile, he snatched the chain from Vasantiben Iyer’s neck on 25 January, but he was caught in a few days.
