There is news of an encounter between police and Naxalites in Sukma, Chhattisgarh. There are 30 to 40 Naxalites present on the spot. Police has cordoned off the area. There is heavy firing from both sides. It is being told that the encounter is taking place in the jungle-hill area of ​​Karakanguda under Chintalnar police station of Sukma district. Along with the district police force, joint action is being taken by DIG Bastar Fighter and 206 Battalion Cobra.

Encounter continues amid heavy firing

There is information about the presence of Naxal battalion supply team and 30-40 Naxals of Jagargunda area committee in the forests of Karakanguda. After this, teams of security forces came into action and this encounter is being carried out. According to Sukma Superintendent of Police, an encounter is going on with Naxal commander Hidma and Deva’s battalion number-1. Firing is going on from both sides since morning. At present, all our soldiers are safe. The situation can be described in a better way after the return of the soldiers.

Three Naxalites were killed yesterday

There was an encounter between soldiers and Naxalites in Narayanpur on Monday evening. In this, the security forces killed three Naxalites. Now, a fierce encounter is going on between the soldiers in the area of ​​Battalion No. 01, which is considered to be the strongest of the Naxalites in Sukma. This encounter is going on on the banks of the Chintavagu river in the Karkanguda area of ​​Chintalnar police station area of ​​Sukma district. Soldiers of DRG CRPF and Cobra’s 206 battalion are present on the spot. A fierce encounter is going on from both sides.

Naxalites are firing indigenous barrel grenade launcher

In the Karkanguda area of ​​Sukma, where the soldiers are having an encounter with the Naxalites, there is a big river Chintawagu and the soldiers are present on this side of the river while the Naxalites are present on the other side of the river. The Naxalites are firing indigenous barrel grenade launchers on the soldiers from the other side, while the soldiers from this side are giving a befitting reply with modern weapons. So far all the soldiers are safe and the firing is going on continuously.

Two Naxalites killed in encounter, swept away by strong current of river

During the encounter, the officials said that two Naxalites were injured by the bullets of the soldiers and fell into the river. Due to the fast flow of Chintavagu river and continuous firing by the Naxalites, the soldiers could not reach the Naxalites and the injured Naxalites were seen floating in the river. The police has also claimed the killing of two Naxalites by issuing a press note.
