UP Police Promotion: Yogi government has given promotion to 1,781 policemen of Uttar Pradesh before Diwali. Director General of Police Headquarters has promoted 1,781 policemen working on the post of Head Constable to the post of Sub Inspector Civil Police. DIG Establishment Akhilesh Kumar Chaurasia has also issued an order in this regard.
This promotion from Head Constable to Sub Inspector of Civil Police is not only an important step in the career of these policemen. Rather, this promotion will also boost the morale of the policemen. There is a wave of happiness in the police department after the promotion of 1,781 head constables working in UP Police.
A copy of the promotion order of 1,781 head constables has also been uploaded on the official website of the UP Police Department. After receiving the recommendation by the Departmental Promotion Committee constituted by Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, Lucknow, the list was sent to Director General of Police Prashant Kumar.
After getting the approval of the DGP, the promotion order has been issued. All the promoted policemen have been promoted at their place of posting. Uttar Pradesh Police Headquarters has given a special gift to the policemen by completing the long awaited promotion process before the Diwali festival.
Policemen’s leave canceled for one month
Due to the upcoming festivals, the Director General of Police Headquarters has canceled the leave of policemen for one month. Orders in this regard have also been issued by Director General of Police Prashant Kumar. The order issued states that in view of the upcoming important festivals like Diwali and Chhath Puja, all types of leaves of policemen are canceled till November 8. In special circumstances, leave can be granted only with the permission of higher officials.
