Team India has messed everything up in order to settle Kohli, the love of street boys is often taken by doctors or engineers… How celeb players are being fired even in-form centurions to get into the team, Virat Kohli disturbs the balance of the team, really Hooda is on fire, it hurts when you are qualified and people don’t recognize your worth . These are some of the quotes and tweets that went viral on Twitter after India’s playing XI for the second T20 match against England was announced.
In the second T20 match, the hosts won the toss and decided to bowl. Team India led by Rohit Sharma made 4 changes for the second match. Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah, Ravindra Jadeja and Rishabh Pant returned to the playing XI in place of Deepak Hooda, Arshdeep Singh, Ishan Kishan and Axar Patel. Many fans and experts had predicted that the visiting team would not tinker much with their winning combination after a thumping 50-run victory in the first match of the series.
However, the team management decided to include their senior players in the playing XI. This thing went awry to many cricket fans. Many fans took to social media to register their protest over the changes made in Team India’s playing XI.
Many netizens questioned the ouster of Deepak Hooda as he has done tremendously in the recent matches. Apart from this, he also expressed displeasure over Arshdeep Singh not being a part of the team. Below are some such tweets and memes.
So true. #deepakhooda should not have been dropped. There is no point in performing only then. If only name players are going to be played even after so inconsistent performances. https://t.co/WiDzLE4M0b

Apart from this, @vid_mitra8 wrote, ‘Why would you leave the in-form Hooda for Kohli who is in very poor form?’ @rajdev_hirday wrote, ‘I think Deepak Hooda has been given some time to prepare for captaincy on the tour of Zimbabwe.’
However, some people also supported Rohit Sharma’s decision. As @TweepleLeaf wrote, ‘I know this is harsh, extremely harsh for many players, but it is a path to be taken. Shuffle, select, drop, retain..!’
