Three real sisters from Wazirabad village in Gurugram district will represent India in the World Taekwondo Championship 2022. The competition will be held from April 21 to 24 in the city of Goyang, South Korea. Three sisters Priya, Geeta and Ritu have been selected for this championship. In the past also these three sisters have represented India at international level many times. Apart from this, she has illuminated the name of the district by winning medals many times at the national level. Now all the three sisters have started practicing for the preparations. For the World Taekwondo Championship 2022, the players’ trials for the senior category U-30 were held in Aurangabad, Maharashtra from 21 to 24 February. 1050 players from across the country participated in it. In this open selection process, all the three sisters living in Wazirabad, Gurugram secured their place in their respective categories.
Wave of happiness in the family: Jitendra Singh, a resident of Wazirabad, does not do any job. He takes care of the entire family with the money he gets from rent. Apart from these three daughters, there is another younger sister Lovely and younger brother Lakshya. These two are also national level players of baseball and softball. Elder daughter Priya is a first year B.P.Ed., second-ranked daughter Geeta is a B.Sc. second year student and Ritu is a class 12th student. The father told that a day before Holi i.e. on March 17, three daughters were informed about the selection in the World Championship. This caused a wave of happiness in the whole family and the happiness of Holi doubled.
Father makes himself practice in the morning and evening
Father Jitendra told that he makes his daughters practice at home for four hours daily in the morning and four hours in the evening. Modern sports equipment has been kept for training at home, so that the daughters do not face any problem in training. Daughters are also engaged in practice. The daughters have never disappointed and have continued to grow. After getting selected in the World Taekwondo Championship, preparations have been intensified. Hope she will bring laurels to the country by winning medals.

She has brought laurels to India by winning a silver medal in the South Asia Games 2019. Younger daughter Ritu has also represented India in 2019. He has also won medals many times at the national level. Elder daughter Priya has represented the country many times and won medals in the Open International Championships. Priya has also won a medal in the All India University Championship.
