The great cricketer Sachin Tendulkar rose to the pinnacle of success in his international career due to his hard work and passion for the game. His journey from a talented young cricketer to the greatest in the world serves as an inspiration not only for budding cricketers in India but around the world.
Tendulkar shared a video on Instagram on Friday. In this, he narrated an emotional story from his training days. In the video, Tendulkar can be seen standing next to BEST bus number 315, which used to go to Shivaji Park, where his coach Ramakant Achrekar used to teach him cricket tricks.
Tendulkar said, “After many years I have seen the bus number 315. It used to travel between Bandra and Shivaji Park and used to travel by this bus and was very excited to reach Shivaji Park and start his practice.”
Tendulkar further said, “After practice I would get tired and hope that my favorite seat, the last seat of the bus near the window, would be empty so that I could sit there and enjoy the cool breeze from outside. There were days when I would fall asleep and at times forget to walk past my bus stop. But it was a lot of fun.”
Let us tell you that Tendulkar is the highest run-scorer in Tests and ODIs. Not only this, he also holds the record for scoring the most international centuries in both the formats. He scored 49 centuries in ODIs and 51 Test centuries. He is also the only cricketer ever to score 100 international centuries. He scored the most double century in ODIs. Former India captain Tendulkar won the ICC World Cup trophy in his sixth and last attempt. India won the trophy in 2011 in Sachin’s hometown Mumbai. He retired in the year 2013.
