Bumrah has maintained the lead in Australia
Actually, Bumrah had to bowl a lot during the Test series against Australia. Bumrah has bowled 141.2 overs during four test matches. However, he has impressed everyone with his performance during the Test series. He has taken 30 wickets for Australia during four test matches. In such a situation, under workload management, Jasprit Bumrah will be given rest in the ODI and T20 series against England.
After the series against England, Team India has to play the Champions Trophy and during this trophy, Team India’s bowling will largely depend on Gumrah. This is the reason why BCCI is not ready to take any risk regarding Bumrah. Champions Trophy is considered very important for India. Therefore, Bumrah will not be seen bowling in the series against England.
It is important to take care of fast bowlers
After the fourth Test match against Australia, Team India captain Rohit Sharma had also admitted that Bumrah had to work hard on the bowling front. He said that we will have to think about managing the workload of all the bowlers. However, along with this he also said that when a player is in his top form, he should be used as much as possible.
Captain Rohit Sharma said that it is important to take special care of fast bowlers. He cannot be made to bowl continuously. Regarding Bumrah also, we have taken great care of the workload. Even during the match, I have continuously talked to him whether he is feeling completely fit for bowling or not. It has also become clear from Rohit’s statement that there are preparations to rest Bumrah during the upcoming series against England. According to experts, if it is decided to rest Bumrah, he will play in the Champions Trophy without any practice.
Selection committee will take decision on Rohit and Virat

Series against England starts on 22 January
The T20 series against England will start on January 22, while the fifth and last match of this series will be played on February 2 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Team India has to play a three-match ODI series against England and this series will start on 6 February. The third and last match of the ODI series will be played on 12 February at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Now everyone’s eyes are on whether Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are included in Team India during the ODI series or not.
