Raipur. In Chhattisgarh, the figure of thirty-six seems to be deepening between CM Bhupesh Baghel and his government minister TS Singhdev. On Sunday, Singhdeo avoided the Congress Legislature Party meeting held at Bhupesh Baghel’s residence. A day before this, he had also given up the additional charge of the Panchayat Department. There has been speculation of a rift between the two for a long time. These speculations have gained further momentum after the latest developments. Singhdev did not attend this meeting and reached his hometown Ambikapur. He said that it was necessary to attend a pre-determined program.

On Saturday itself, Singhdeo sent a 4-page long resignation letter to Baghel. He also released this resignation to the media. At the same time, the CM says that he has not yet received Singhdev’s resignation from the Panchayat Department. Singhdeo had written in this resignation that he will continue to handle the four departments that he has been given earlier. He wrote in his resignation that the performance of the government is not satisfactory. The department was supposed to build houses for the poor under the PM Awas Yojana, but the fund was not approved for this. Apart from this, all other things Singhdev had written in the resignation letter.
Let us tell you that earlier last year, Singhdev had walked out of the assembly while being a minister. He then accused a Baghel-supporting MLA of threatening himself. Singhdeo had clearly said in the assembly at that time that CM should take action against this MLA. After which he left the house and left. He was later persuaded. It is believed that Singhdev is angry about the post of CM. He has also met the Congress high command several times in Delhi.
