new Delhi: The Supreme Court has dismissed a petition seeking cancellation of ‘offline’ board exams for class 10th and 12th to be conducted by CBSE and other boards. Hearing this, the SC refused this petition outright on Wednesday. Regarding this, the Supreme Court said that, such a petition is misleading and gives false hopes to the students.
A bench of Justices A M Khanwilkar, Dinesh Maheshwari and C T Ravikumar said, “This not only creates false hopes, but also creates confusion among the students preparing for the examination. So let the students and officials do their job.” He further said, the officials are already working on finalizing the dates of the examinations and other arrangements related to it. If there is any problem after finalization then the aggrieved party can approach the authorities.
