The 60-year-old leader said that the phones of opposition leaders are being tapped especially in this country where elections are to be held. Only yesterday we got information about Goa elections.
In his post shared on Twitter, Raut wrote that the way the phones of leaders of Maharashtra were tapped, now the phones of opposition leaders are being tapped in Goa. He said that the phones of Sudin Dhavalikar, Vijay Sardesai, Digambar Kamat and Girish Chodankar were being tapped. The whole country wants to know who is Rashmi Shukla of Goa behind this taping? In his tweet, he has tagged former Goa Deputy Chief Minister Sudin Dhavalikar, former Chief Ministers Digambar Kamat, Vijay Sardesai and Girish Chodankar.
Sanjay Raut has mentioned IPS officer Rashmi Shukla in his tweet. Rashmi Shukla has been accused of tapping the phones of Maharashtra leaders while heading the State Intelligence Department (SID). Cases have been registered against them in Mumbai and Pune. Only last week, the Congress had said that BJP leader and former Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis should be investigated. There is no reaction from the BJP on Sanjay Raut’s statement so far.
Let us inform that on 14 Parvara, voting for the 40-member assembly in Goa was held in one phase. The results will come on March 10. Counting of votes will also take place in Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Uttarakhand and Manipur on the same day. After a major political controversy over the Pegasus espionage controversy last year, allegations of phone surveillance have come to the fore again.
