Gwalior Dharma Samaj News: Gwalior, New Dunia Representative. The district administration team reached the Achaleshwar temple on Saturday, opened 13 donation boxes and counted the deposits. 6,43,950 were received by the devotees in these boxes, out of which 5 lakh 81 thousand 850 rupees were in the form of paper notes, while 62 thousand 100 rupees were in the form of coins. The calculated amount has been deposited in the bank by the administrative officials. Earlier on February 3, these 13 boxes were opened. At that time, an offering of Rs 19 lakh had come out of the boxes. This counting was done by 30 administrative officers and six bank employees by machine. The whole counting was done in three hours.
The administrative team had arrived in the morning: The administrative team arrived early in the morning to open the donation boxes of the Achaleshwar Mahadev temple, the center of the devotees’ faith, and to count the amount. The management of this temple is on the shoulders of Achaleshwar Mahadev Trust, but after the irregularities of the trust officials came to the fore, the court has at present handed over the responsibility of temple management to the administration. At present, there is no interference of the officials of the trust in the temple management. It is the responsibility of the administration to safeguard the donations made by the devotees for the temple. That’s why the administration team reached to open the donation boxes from morning. It is worth mentioning that similarly some time back also, in the presence of administrative officers, the amount received in donation was counted by eating a donation box.
