In order to meet the loss of children’s education due to the
COVID-19 pandemic, the government has prepared a Comprehensive Scheme for Teaching Children (LRP).
On behalf of Manish Garg, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Education, the states have been instructed to start work on the scheme at the earliest. Under this scheme, under the academic session 2022-23, students of upper primary and secondary level will get financial help of Rs 500 for all students.
Whereas, under the Nipun Bharat Mission, financial assistance of five hundred rupees is being given to the students of classes I to V. Under the scheme, tablets will also be given to teachers in the Teacher Resource Package (TRP).
