But, the hearing was postponed. After this, the date of hearing was postponed to 12th September, after which now the hearing is going to be held today i.e. on 22nd September. What is the stand of the court in such a situation? Come, before that let us know what is the Land for Job issue?
What is land for job issue?
Actually, this entire matter dates back to 2004-2009, when Lalu Yadav was the Railway Minister. He is accused of getting jobs in Group D in exchange of land to the applicants during his tenure as Railway Minister. At the same time, no application for the job was issued by the Railways.
Tejashwi Yadav’s reaction
At the same time, Tejashwi Yadav termed this step as politically motivated and said that all these summons do not make any difference to us. We are used to it now. Note, even before this he had made it clear while talking to the media that he was not affected by the action of CBI and ED.
