Tata Motors recently launched its first factory-fitted CNG cars in India, the Tiago i-CNG and Tigor i-CNG. Both the vehicles were long awaited in the Indian market. In this direction, Maruti has attracted the attention of customers by launching its Celerio CNG. What is the power of both the cars on CNG model
The Tata Tiago i-CNG is powered by a 1.2-litre NA engine, which generates 86 PS of power and 113 Nm of torque on petrol, while on CNG it produces 73.4 PS of power and 95 Nm of torque. This powerplant only comes mated to a 5-speed transmission. On the other hand, the 1.0-litre NA engine has been given under the hood of the Maruti Wagon R S-CNG. This motor churns out 68ps of power and 90Nm of torque on petrol mode, 59ps of power and 78Nm of torque on CNG mode, though its transmission option only gets a 5-speed manual gearbox.
Price and Mileage
The price of Tata Tiago i-CNG ranges from Rs 6.10 Lakh to Rs 7.65 Lakh. The Tiage has been introduced by the company in XE, XM, XT, XZ Plus, and XZ Plus Dual-Tone, while the Maruti WagonR is available in two trims LXI and LXI(O), with prices ranging from Rs 6.84 lakh to Rs 6.91 lakh. has been determined. Talking about the mileage, it is being told about the mileage of Tiago, that this car is capable of giving a mileage of up to 26km/kg, while the WagonR CNG is capable of giving a mileage of 32.52km/kg.

Exterior Design and Dimensions
The Tata Tiago is a good looking hatchback that includes angular headlamps, a wide front grille, bulbous taillights, 14-inch hyperstyle steel wheels and chrome-plated door handles. An ‘i-CNG’ badge has been added to the tailgate to differentiate the CNG version of this car from the petrol. On the other hand, the Maruti Wagon R CNG is equipped with an attractive design, but it looks smaller than the Tiage in terms of dimensions.

The Maruti WagonR gets curvy headlights, blacked-out door handles, tall C-pillar-mounted taillights, flared wheelarches and 13-inch steel wheels (with wheel caps). However, despite the smaller dimensions, the tallboy style WagonR is taller. On the other hand, when comparing the CNG car with the petrol model, there is no badging for it, but a (CNG) sticker has been installed on the windscreen.
