Japanese automaker Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) on Wednesday launched the updated Camry hybrid sedan in India at a price of Rs 41.70 lakh (ex-showroom). The company has given a unique design in the new Toyota Camry, if you are interested in taking this car, then you can book it at any nearest dealership. Let us tell you, this car was first introduced in 2013, and now with the launch of the latest model, the company is aiming to increase the sales.
Introduced with new color option
The new Toyota Camry Hybrid gets a new front bumper, revamped grille and alloy wheels, which give it a bold appeal. Apart from this, combination lamps with LED brake lights are now available with a black base extension, while the rear has also been redesigned by the company. The self-charging Camry hybrid electric sedan launched by the company is now available in a new exterior color Metal Stream Metallic. This new color has been launched along with the existing colors like Platinum White Pearl, Silver Metallic, Graphite Metallic, Red Mica, Attitude Black and Burning Black.
Long list of features included
The company has included a new design in the cabin of the car, which offers a floating-type large 9-inch infotainment system. The interior is equipped with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, the design of which has now been replaced with a black engineered wood film. Other features include 10-way power adjustable driver seat, tilt-telescopic steering column with ORVM and memory function, wireless smartphone charger and heads-up display. At the same time, the rear seats have recliner feature, power assisted rear sunshade, audio and AC controls on the capacitive touch panel, which are present on the rear arm rest.
Engine Options and Battery Warranty
The new Toyota Camry Hybrid is equipped with a 2.5-litre four-cylinder petrol hybrid Dynamic Force engine, which is paired with a powerful motor generator, producing a combined output of 160kW (218PS). At the same time, the company is providing a warranty of eight years or 1,60,000 km on the hybrid battery of the vehicle. The Camry is offered with three driving modes – Sport, Eco and Normal. Notably, Toyota claims that the robust hybrid vehicle is capable of running up to 60% on electric mode.
