Veteran tech and smartphone company Apple may remove some popular apps from its App Store. The company is going to take action on apps that no longer receive updates. Apple has also sent a mail called “App Improvement Notice” to many developers of such apps. According to a report in The Verge, the company has given developers only 30 days to issue a warning in an email.
Apple warned in an email that it will remove apps from the App Store that “have not been updated in a timely manner.” Apple has given developers only 30 days to update the app. “You may submit an updated review of the app within 30 days to make it available for search and download on the App Store,” the email reads.

The email states that if someone fails to submit an update within 30 days, the app will be removed from sale. Let us tell you that while the unupdated apps will be removed from the App Store, users who have already downloaded them on the device will continue to use it.

Many people, such as Robert Kabwe, developer of Protopop Games, have expressed concern over the change. He said that Apple is threatening to remove his popular game Motivoto because it has not been updated since March 2019.
