If there is a plan to buy a premium smartwatch, then Google’s first smartwatch is going to be launched soon. Tipster Evan Blass has hinted that the Google Pixel Watch running Wear OS 3.1 could be launched soon. Smart wearable devices have been a subject of speculation and uncertainty for quite some time and the tipster is taking it further with new leads.
Blass says that the Pixel Rohan launch is near, although there are no specific dates for 2022, it seems. The codename Rohan has long been associated with the first Google smartwatch. However, it does not necessarily mean that the device will come with the Rohan moniker when it finally releases. Google may adopt a more catchy marketing name for a device to compete with big hitters in the field like Apple and Samsung.

When will the Pixel Watch launch?
The Pixel Watch will run on the latest version of Wear OS, which is version 3.1. However, Wear OS 3.1 may introduce some capability and looks improvements over version 3.0. Should the new operating system provide some major starts for smartwatches, it remains to be seen how the Google Pixel Rohan will improve above existing flagship models like the Apple Watch. Rumors were suggesting launch dates of May 11, July and October 2022, adding to the uncertainty around the smartwatch. The May date coincides with the 2022 I/O conference and could be a credible date for the launch.
Up to 32GB of Internal Storage!
While most of the details and specs of the Pixel smartwatch are unknown at the moment, the device could come with a circular design and offer high-end ECG monitoring. This will be in addition to the basic sensors that have positioned the smartwatch as an important health and fitness device. It is also rumored to be offering up to 32GB of internal storage to bring it at par with the market leader. The processor of the device is also expected to be high-end but there is no information on it yet. There is also no indication about the price of the new device.
