The smartphone maker company is going to bring its budget phone in India on Holi. This phone will come under the name of Redmi 10, which will be available for Rs 10,000 as per the Indian price. Along with this, a 50MP primary camera, 5000mAh battery and 12nm MediaTek Helio G88 chipset will also be given in this phone. The company is preparing to present this phone on March 17.

Ahead of the launch, Xiaomi has posted several teasers on its official website that reveal the specifications of the Redmi 10.
Redmi 10 is the updated version of Redmi 9 in its series. Since Redmi 9 was available for Rs 9,499, Redmi 9 Prime has been sold for Rs 10,499. Similarly, Redmi 10 will also be placed in the same price segment.
The information shown in the teaser of the company suggests that the upcoming Redmi 10 will sport a distinctive design. For this device, Xiaomi has given a waterdrop-style notch display instead of a punch-hole design. It is likely to have a bigger display. The company has also included a fingerprint sensor in the rear camera module. Along with this, big battery and fast charging is also being given.
The launched global model has a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. While the global variant has a 12nm MediaTek Helio G88 chipset, the teaser reveals that the Redmi 10 will pack a 6nm Snapdragon chipset. It will offer UFS 2.1 or UFS 2.2 storage along with ultra fast storage.
In the Indian variant, it has a dual camera setup of 50MP primary rear camera and depth sensor. The company skipped the 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle sensor for the Indian model. It will run on MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11.
