Now WhatsApp will not work in these phones from January 1 (WhatsApp to Stop Working in These Smartphones):
WhatsApp will stop running on millions of phones from the new year i.e. January 2025. The reason for this is the old operating system. Actually, users will stop getting WhatsApp support on old operating systems. WhatsApp is going to stop supporting WhatsApp in smartphones on KitKat OS and older versions from January 1, 2025.
WhatsApp has taken this decision keeping in mind security, functionality and new features, because older versions do not support new features. WhatsApp will no longer work on smartphones with KitKat version launched in 2013 and older versions. From January 1, 2025, WhatsApp is not going to run on smartphones running Android KitKat and older versions. In such a situation, users are going to need to upgrade to a new smartphone.
