The five BJP MLAs who were suspended from the West Bengal Assembly have no regrets of being suspended. Sankar Ghosh, one of the five MLAs, said on Tuesday that he would continue to raise his voice for the people against the alleged misrule of the Trinamool Congress (TMC). Shankar said the incident in the assembly on Monday was pre-planned by the ruling party.

West Bengal Assembly Speaker Biman Bandyopadhyay on Monday suspended five BJP MLAs, including Leader of Opposition Shubhendu Adhikari, for allegedly indecent behavior in the House. The names of suspended BJP MLAs include Deepak Burman, Shankar Ghosh, Manoj Tigga and Narhari Mahato.
