The thief first bowed to the Shivling. Then stole a donation box full of money from the temple and left from there. The incident is from the famous Gupteshwar Mahadev temple of Rustampur located on Indore Ichhapur Highway in Madhya Pradesh. The entire incident was captured in the CCTV cameras installed in the temple. As soon as the news of the incident was received, the police was informed. Till the filing of this report, the police could not arrest the thief.
After worshiping, folded the hands of God and stole the donation box
There is a famous Gupteshwar Mahadev temple in Rustampur village situated on Indore Ichhapur highway of Khandwa. Late night a miscreant reached the temple. He first worshiped the Shivling of Lord Bholenath. After that, standing in front of the idol, folded the hands of God. After this, he picked up the donation box kept in the temple and carried it on his shoulder and walked on. The priests of the temple woke up after hearing the sound and gave their voice. When there was no sound, he went back to sleep.
Police could not find the thief
Here, as soon as the information of theft in the temple was received, the police reached the spot. Dog squad reached the spot and started investigation. The police dog returned empty handed after running to Piplod village to trace the thief and the box. A farmer saw the temple box in a field at some distance from the temple, who brought it and handed it over to the Mahant of the temple. It is feared that the thief tried but could not break the lock of the donation box. Due to which he left the box there and ran away.
