Talking about the company, Intent started the ‘Bag’ startup in July 2021. 12 plastic bottles and 10 plastic bags are used to make shoes. During shoe making, plastic bags are turned into a fabric called thylatax by heat and pressure. It is then cut into a shoe pattern. Plastic bottles converted into fabric by recycling are called wraps (polyethylene terephthalate), which are used for lining, stools, packaging and other parts. The sole of the shoe is made of recycled rubber. Priced at $10, the company is ready to ship these shoes anywhere in the world.
