A massive fire broke out in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai on Wednesday night. The fire is spreading very fast. The area where the fire broke out also has high-rise buildings in which people live. Nearby people have informed the police and fire brigade about the incident. However, it is not yet clear how the fire started.
Around 35 people were evacuated on Friday afternoon after a fire broke out in the fourth floor of a 24-storey residential building in Mumbai’s suburban Borivali last month. The fire broke out at around 12.30 pm in the Paradise Heights building of the Basti Rehabilitation Authority (SRA) at Padma Nagar in Chikuwadi area of Borivali West, a local body official said.
At least four fire tenders reached the spot after getting information. Firefighters had pulled out about 35 people from the building. He said the fire was brought under control around 1.30 pm.
