The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which secured a thumping majority for the second consecutive time in the Uttar Pradesh elections, has formed the government. When Yogi Adityanath took oath as the Chief Minister on Friday, 52 ministers have also taken oath with him. On the formation of the new government, Samajwadi Party alliance partner and Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SubhSP) chief Om Prakash Rajbhar has congratulated. Along with this, he has also reminded the Yogi government of some promises and said that they have to be fulfilled.
OP Rajbhar tweeted, “Congratulations to the new government in UP, the oath of the constitution has been taken to save those who have come with a promise, to get rid of the abandoned animals, to give government jobs to the youth, to reduce the fees in schools.” To make medicines and test operations cheaper, and justice will also have to be done to every section of the society without discrimination.
OP Rajbhar, who fought with the BJP in the 2017 assembly elections, also became a minister in the Yogi government. Later he became a rebel and this time he has contested the elections together with the SP alliance. Rajbhar’s party has won 6 seats this time. There is also speculation that he may once again switch sides and go with the BJP. There were also reports of meeting with former BJP President Amit Shah in Delhi in the past, but Rajbhar had denied these reports and said that he would remain with the SP.
