A BCCI official has given this information. Usually, tickets go on sale from March 1 at least two weeks before the match. However, this time it has been delayed due to the ongoing discussion about the capacity of the spectators in the stadium. A senior BCCI official told InsideSport that tickets for all venues and matches, including Pune, should start from tomorrow i.e. March 23.

Discussions are going on between the BCCI and the Maharashtra government regarding the seating capacity of the spectators in the stadium. The Maharashtra government has so far allowed only 25 percent of the spectators to enter the stadium for IPL 2022, while the BCCI wants the seating capacity of the spectators to be increased to 40 percent after the decline in corona cases.
