Yogi Adityanath has once again been elected the leader of the BJP Legislature Party. Yogi Adityanath’s name was formally approved in the meeting of BJP MLAs held at Lok Bhavan in Lucknow in the presence of Home Minister Amit Shah, who was appointed as observer by BJP. Suresh Khanna proposed the name of Yogi Adityanath.
After being elected the leader of the legislature party, the claim of forming the government was also presented to the governor along with the letter of support of the legislators. A letter signed by all the 273 MLAs of the BJP alliance was handed over to Governor Anandiben Patel. Yogi will take oath as CM on Friday.
From the meeting of the legislature party to the submission of the claim, the alliance partners also showed full respect. Along with BJP leaders, MLC Ashish Patel, husband of Apna Dal S President Anupriya Patel and Nishad Party President Sanjay Nishad were also present on the stage. Sanjay Nishad and Ashish Patel also accompanied the BJP leaders to present the claim. This time the BJP contested the elections in alliance with Apna Dal S and Nishad Party.
Yogi Adityanath himself received Home Minister Amit Shah, who arrived in Lucknow on Thursday afternoon before the legislature party meeting. Amit Shah reached the BJP headquarters before coming to the Lok Bhavan. BJP core group meeting was held here. Co-observer Raghuvar Das, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Radha Mohan Singh, Sunil Bansal, Swatantradev Singh, Keshav Prasad Maurya were also present in the meeting. It is being told that some names of the Council of Ministers to be formed tomorrow have been discussed in this meeting.

Preparations have been completed for the formation of the new government. The BJP leadership has also stamped the names of the ministers. The new ministers who took oath tomorrow have also been called by CM Yogi for tea at ten in the morning. There is a tea party at the residence of the Chief Minister on Kalidas Marg. From here, Yogi Adityanath along with the MLAs who become ministers will leave for swearing-in at the Ekana Stadium.
