In fact, while giving this information on Sunday, it was told by the Ministry of External Affairs that in view of the rapidly deteriorating security situation in the western part of Ukraine, the Government of India has decided that the Indian Embassy in Ukraine will be shifted from temporary Russia to Poland. . This decision was taken when PM Modi held a high-level meeting on Sunday regarding the Ukraine crisis.
In the high level meeting of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India’s security preparedness and the current global scenario were reviewed in view of the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Foreign Secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval participated in Sunday’s meeting. Ever since Russia launched its military offensive on Ukraine, the prime minister has held several high-level meetings with Union ministers and senior officials.
In this episode, during the war itself, India started a huge operation named ‘Operation Ganga’ to bring back the civilians trapped in the war-affected Ukraine. Apart from this, PM Modi has also held talks with the leaders of the two warring nations – Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Ukrainian counterpart Zelensky. Modi has appealed to the two leaders for a return to dialogue and diplomacy to end the bloodshed and destruction.
On the other hand, India has so far been cautious about its response to Russia’s aggression. India stayed away from the resolution passed against Moscow in the United Nations.
