The company has currently launched it in China, where the Black Shark 5 Pro is priced at $661 (approximately Rs. 50,000) for the 8GB+25GB variant, $740 (approximately Rs. 56,000) for the 12GB+256GB variant, and $866 for the 16GB+512GB variant. (about Rs 66,000). It comes in Meteor Black and Tiangong White colors. The phone is available for pre-order and will go on sale in offline-online markets from April 2. The series can be purchased from Black Shark stores, Xiaomi stores and other authorized stores like JD.com.

– Black Shark 5 Pro comes with 6.67-inch FHD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) resolution display with 144Hz refresh rate. This is an OLED panel with a maximum brightness of 1300 nits. It has HDR10+ support and 1.07 billion colors. The screen has a 720Hz touch sampling rate and features a dual-zone pressure-sensitive screen that is said to be useful for gamers. The display also has SGS Blu-ray certification and 8.3ms multi-finger touch response delay.

It is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5 and 512GB Disk Array 2.0. Disk Array efficiently provides the speed of UFS 3.1 and SSD. Thanks to this technology, read and write speeds are increased by 55% and 69%, respectively.
The phone’s AnTuTu score was revealed and it scored 1,129,716 in the test. Since this is a gaming phone, it also gets a magnetic lift-up shoulder trigger providing better gaming experience.
It has a triple camera system with 108MP Samsung S5KHM2 main lens, 13MP OmniVision OV13B10 ultra-wide sensor and 5MP Samsung S5K5E9 telephoto lens. Upfront, it has a 16MP OmniVision OV16A1Q sensor for selfies.
The phone packs a 4650mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging technology. The company claims that the phone can be fully charged in just 15 minutes. It comes with a speaker setup that scored an impressive 86 in the DXOMARK audio test. The smartphone boots on Android 12 OS and has JoyUI 13 on top.
