The assembly elections have now moved towards the conclusion. This is the period that will write the script for the Lok Sabha elections to be held in the year 2024. The reality of the claims of those who claim to be Lambardar of castes will be known. His position will be judged by the votes and seats he gets. This phase will also tell the truth of their claims, then on the basis of this, a new fabric will be woven for the Lok Sabha elections to be held after two years.
Examine the claims of small parties
Voting for the seventh phase is to be held on March 7 in 54 assembly seats. Be it Subhaspa or Apna Dal (S) or Apna Dal comrade… These small parties are claiming their vote bank to be in this phase. Most backward class fraternities are also in these areas. That is why there are leaders of many such small parties who are claiming that they have a vote bank of such caste with them. Especially Ghazipur, Mau, Chandauli, Varanasi, Mirzapur and Sonbhadra are called by small parties as their stronghold.
New experiment started from year 2014
The era of experimentation of fighting with small parties in UP started from the year 2014 in the Lok Sabha elections. BJP was the first to bring caste based parties together and it got success. After this, the color of this experiment got brighter in the 2017 assembly elections. It is a different matter that small parties have not been able to show any big feat in the state by staying separate from the big parties. That is why in this time’s assembly elections, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav has also made alliance with caste based and regional based parties. Now it has to be seen whether BJP and SP benefit from smaller parties or they got their advantage, because this time the election is relatively different from the year 2017. To whom vote was transferred from which caste, this basis will create new equations going forward.
The seventh phase has been the stronghold of SP
Let’s talk about the phases of two elections here. Let’s do the first year 2012. The SP had captured 34 of the 54 seats. In this, Azamgarh won the maximum nine seats and Ghazipur six seats. In the year 2017, BJP won 29 seats in the storm of BJP and 11 seats went to SP’s account. BJP came second on 10 seats and SP 20.
