Jabalpur, Naiduniya Rep. Ekadashi fasting has great importance in Hinduism. In which devotees worship Lord Narayan. But very few people know that there is an Ekadashi in a year in which Lord Shankar is worshipped. This Ekadashi is Ekadashi of Shukla Paksha of Falgun month. It is known as Rangbhari Ekadashi.
This time on March 14, Rangbhari Ekadashi is: Astrologer Pandit Saurabh Dubey told that there is one such Ekadashi of the year in which Lord Shiva is worshipped. This time Rangbhari Ekadashi is falling on 14th March. Rangbhari Ekadashi will be celebrated on Sunday, 6 days before Holi.
Devotees of Shiva celebrate the festival with pomp: On the day of Rangbhari Ekadashi, devotees of Shiva in Kashi celebrate this festival with great pomp. On this day, Bholenath and mother Parvati were brought to Kashi by making cows. Therefore, on this day, Maa Parvati is given a grand welcome in Kashi and in this joy, colors are blown and this festival lasts for 6 days.
We also worship the gooseberry tree: Astrologer Pandit Praveen Mohan Sharma told that on the day of Rangbhari Ekadashi, along with Lord Shiva, the gooseberry tree is also worshiped, hence Rangbhari Ekadashi is known as Amalaki Ekadashi. Worshiping on this day brings health and good fortune to the person. Not only this, there is also a tradition to see the gold or silver idol of Annapurna on this day.
This will be the time of Ekadashi: According to the Hindu calendar, Rangbhari Ekadashi will start from 8:44 am on March 13 and will last till 10.27 am on March 14. At the same time, the yoga of Ravi Som Pushya is also being formed in Ekadashi. Pushya Nakshatra will remain from 6.44 pm on Sunday 13 March to 8:50 pm on Monday 14 March.
