A scuffle broke out at a cinema hall in Maharashtra’s Nashik on Wednesday when some women wearing saffron shawls to watch Kashmir Files were allegedly asked by the hall management to remove them, to which they objected. Now the BJP has attacked the ruling Shiv Sena in the state regarding this issue.
The BJP on Thursday criticized the Shiv Sena over the incident and asked Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray whether this was his Hindutva. Regarding the incident, the state BJP unit said in a Twitter post, “Women wearing saffron shawls in Nashik to watch The Kashmir Files film were asked to remove the shawls before entering the cinema hall. Uddhavji, is this your form of Hindutva?
The BJP in its tweet used words like “green blood” to question Shiv Sena’s commitment to Hindutva and claimed that the Thackeray-led party has now become a “Janaab Sena”.
