Taliban continues to issue new rules in Afghanistan. It is reported that this time the Taliban has given special instructions to the government employees. Under this, the job can also be in danger if you reach the office without a beard. Recently, the Taliban has come under attack from the world for not opening schools for girls. The European Union has condemned the decision to ban girls’ education.
A Reuters report quoted sources as saying that Taliban officials monitored government offices on Monday. During this it was being seen whether the employees were following the new rules or not. Under the new rules, the employees have been instructed not to shave their beards and wear local clothes. Sources informed that the employees have also been asked to ensure that worship at the right time.
Sources said that the employees have been told that if they do not follow the dress code from now on, they will not be allowed to enter the office and will be fired. However, there has been no official response from the Taliban on this.
Last week, the Taliban banned women from traveling by air without men. At the same time, the group also reneged on the promise of opening schools for girls. On Sunday, the Taliban issued rules regarding entry into gardens based on gender. Under these, women will be able to go to the park on three days in a week and men on the other four days. The special thing is that even couples and families are not allowed to go to the park together.
Here, the Taliban is facing criticism from the governments of the West for imposing strict rules on the citizens of Afghanistan. The Taliban say they will respect the rights of all according to the law of Islam and Afghan customs. The group says that they have changed since 1996-2001 i.e. from the previous regime. During that time, women were banned from leaving the house without men and men were forced to grow beards.
