BJP candidate from Jhansi Sadar assembly seat Ravi Sharma played three unbeaten innings for the party and this time won a bang for the third time. This time he defeated his nearest rival Sitaram Kushwaha of Samajwadi Party by a huge margin of 76,256 votes. With Sharma’s thumping victory for the third time, there has been tremendous enthusiasm among the supporters to make him a minister. Sharma got 1,47,604 votes while SP candidate had to be satisfied with only 71348 votes, due to which Sharma defeated Sitaram Kushwaha by more than 76 thousand votes.

Unique record in the name of SP candidate
SP candidate Sitaram Kushwaha also made a strange record this time that he lost to Ravi Sharma for the third time. Bahujan Samaj Party’s candidate Kailash Sahu had to be satisfied with 17,698 votes and Congress’s Rahul Richharia 8,797 votes while 1349 votes were in favor of NOTA. There were 36 rounds of counting of votes for Jhansi Sadar Vidhan Sabha.
