Exit polls have come out after the last phase of voting in the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections. Talking about the Pole of Poles i.e. Mahapol, the Bharatiya Janata Party seems to be forming the government once again. In the 403-seat Uttar Pradesh Assembly in Mahapol, the Bharatiya Janata Party alliance seems to be getting 246 seats. Apart from this, Samajwadi Party is expected to get 138 seats, Bahujan Samaj Party 12 seats, Congress 4 seats and others 6 seats.
BJP may suffer as compared to 2017
If the exit poll figures translate into results on March 10, the BJP seems to be losing 79 seats. The BJP alliance had got 325 seats in the last election. Out of these 312 seats were won by BJP, 9 seats by Apna Dal (Sonelal) and 4 seats by Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party. In the 2017 elections, BJP contested 384 seats, Apna Dal 11 and SubhaSP 8 seats. At the same time, BJP has tied up with Apna Dal (Sonelal) and Nishad Party.
SP seems to be getting an edge
According to the exit polls, the Samajwadi Party alliance seems to be getting 138 seats in this election. In the last assembly elections, the SP contested 311 seats in alliance with the Congress and managed to win only 47 seats. Accordingly, the SP alliance seems to be benefiting from 91 seats this time. Let us tell you that this time the Samajwadi Party has tied up with RLD, SubhaSP, Mahan Dal, Pragatisheel Samajwadi Party (Lohia), NCP, Janwadi Party (Socialist) and Apna Dal (Communist).
Congress in worse condition than before!
Talking about Congress, according to Mahapol, Congress seems to be getting 4 seats. At the same time, while staying with the SP in the last election, the Congress had won seven seats. In 2017, the Congress had contested on 114 seats. This time the Congress was alone in the electoral fray. If the exit poll results change, the Congress may suffer more damage than last time.
BSP’s condition is also bad
In the last elections, Bahujan Samaj Party had won 19 seats by contesting 403 seats. At the same time, BSP seems to be getting 12 seats in this time’s Mahapol. If these figures translate into results, then the BSP will have to think about its election strategy once again.
