While skipper Joe Root could not even open the account, Lawrence returned to the pavilion on personal scores of 8, Stokes 2, Bairstow 0 and Ben Fox 7. In the blink of an eye after the first wicket fell on 23, England’s score was 67 runs for the loss of 7 wickets.
