Mumbai, 6 December (IANS). Maharashtra Congress State President Nana Patole on Friday congratulated State Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on becoming the CM and expressed hope that Fadnavis will fulfill his promises made to the people.
He said that Fadnavis has become the Chief Minister of Maharashtra. I have full hope that he will fulfill his promises made to the people of Maharashtra. The oath taking ceremony took place in Maharashtra after 13 days. But, in this only three people have been able to take oath – one Chief Minister and two Deputy Chief Ministers. Many issues are being raised regarding this situation. First of all, I wish our friend Devendra Fadnavis all the best as he has become the Chief Minister of the state.”
He said, “Fadnavis had talked about waiving off the loans of farmers of Maharashtra, which is very important because the farmers there are in crisis. We hope that he will fulfill this promise soon. Apart from this, more than two lakh government job posts are lying vacant for the youth in Maharashtra. These posts need to be filled quickly, so that people can get work.”
He said, “There are many problems in law and order in Maharashtra, like drug mafia and crime. We hope that Fadnavis will bring improvements in this direction and make Maharashtra crime free. Along with this, he also promised to provide houses for the poor, and we are confident that every poor will get a house by the end of this year.”
He said, “Maharashtra’s roads are also in a very bad condition, like highways and rural areas are full of potholes. We want Maharashtra to be transformed into a good and developed state.”
On the delay in cabinet expansion, he said that this is a government issue, we should not get involved in it. We will talk to the government to raise the questions of the public and their rights.
