Kanpur. By-elections are going to be held on 9 assembly seats in UP. One of these seats is Sisamau of Kanpur. Samajwadi Party i.e. SP has nominated Naseem Solanki, wife of former MLA Irfan Solanki, as its candidate from Sisamau assembly seat. Naseem Solanki is now embroiled in a controversy here. On one hand, Maulana has become angry with him, while on the other hand BJP is also targeting him. The matter is about offering water on Shivalinga. Actually, SP candidate Naseem Solanki went to a historical Shiva temple on the night of Diwali and offered water there. Due to this, Naseem Solanki came under target. A Maulana has demanded Naseem Solanki to abstain from performing Jalabhishek.

Naseem Solanki’s husband Irfan Solanki became MLA from Sisamau seat of Kanpur in 2022 on SP ticket. Irfan Solanki was arrested on charges of burning a woman’s house and settling Bangladeshis. The court sentenced him in a case. Due to the punishment of Irfan Solanki, his membership from Sisamau assembly seat was cancelled. Due to which now elections are going to be held in Sisamau. SP has tried to win there again by giving ticket to Irfan Solanki’s wife Naseem Solanki. Now the matter of Naseem Solanki going to the temple and performing Jalabhishek seems to be gaining momentum.
