A Louisiana boy wants everyone to know that his pet dog from North Shore Animal League America, Maggie, is very special. So special that 7-year-old Roman Duncan wrote a letter to Maggie’s new family. This letter is for those who will adopt this dog further. According to Fox News Digital, in an adorable note, Roman wrote, “Maggie is so cute.” Maggie loves to play Fetch. Maggie is the best dog ever. Roman wrote we love Maggie. Roman hopes that a new owner will love him as much as Roman does.
Maggie, a pit bull mix, is a foster dog. North Shore Animal League America informed Fox News Digital about this. Roman’s mother, Crystal Duncan, told Fox News Digital that I’ve seen pictures of Maggie in her big comfortable bed and with her new family and it’s a great thing. You know you did the right thing when you see them happy. Maggie has a huge heart and is a really special dog. Knowing that she is loved and cared for and that she is being spoiled. Seeing this makes our hearts happy.
North Shore Animal League America said Roman is proud to have made sure Maggie finds a good forever home. Joan Yohannan, SVP of Operations for North Shore Animal League America, said: “Roman exemplifies the empathy and love that is the cornerstone of our school dog program. This is a commitment shared with our shelter partners to find loving, responsible homes for homeless animals. Yohannan said there are many animals in shelters across America who are in need of loving homes.
