A fierce encounter took place between security forces and terrorists late on Monday night in Pakistan’s north-western province Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, in which at least 9 terrorists and 8 security personnel were killed. The encounter took place during an anti-terrorist operation in Tirah Maidan valley of Khyber district.
According to sources, two important commanders of Lashkar-e-Islam were also killed during this operation. 7 security personnel and 6 terrorists have been injured in the encounter. Security forces had deployed themselves at three different points and the operation continued for several hours. Local sources said that some nearby citizens were also injured in this operation. Security forces have intensified operations against terrorists. The number of deaths and injuries in this encounter may increase as the operation continues.
The convoy of a foreign diplomat was targeted

Last month, diplomats of China, Russia and many countries were also attacked by terrorists. The terrorists had targeted the convoy of a foreign diplomat, in which a security personnel was killed. However, the foreign diplomat was not harmed in any way in the attack.
Earlier there was a suicide bomb blast at the station
A few days ago, a suicide bomb blast was carried out at a station in Balochistan, Pakistan, in which the main target was security personnel. 17 security personnel and many civilians were killed in the attack. Most of the people killed were training officers of the Pakistan Army, who were returning home after completing their training. The Baloch Liberation Army claimed responsibility for the attack. This was carried out through a human bomb.
