Relief and rescue teams in search of boat overturned in Greece.
Athens: Information about the overturning of a boat filled with migrants has been revealed near Lesbos Island in Greece. It is being told that the boat was taking the migrants from Türkiye to a nearby Greek island. During this time an accident happened. At least seven people died due to the overturning of this boat, including two children. The Coast Guard of Greece gave this information on Thursday.
On receiving information about the incident, the search and rescue operations on the northern coast of Lesbos Island were started with immediate effect. During this, the bodies of the dead were recovered. Coast Guard said that 23 people have been rescued. It said that no immediate information about the total number of people on the boat and their nationality has been found.
