Violence and vandalism in Bangladesh

Dhaka: The interim government of Bangladesh, headed by Nobel Peace Prize, has said that it will stop the sabotage and arson across the country. The interim government has made this statement at a time when a major opposition party and neighboring country of the country expressed concern over the attack on a historic house associated with the deputed Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

Interim government blames Hasina

In various parts of the country, the crowd has been vandalizing the houses and business establishments of Hasina’s supporters since Wednesday night. Several establishments of former MPs, cabinet members and Hasina’s party Awami League leaders have been set on fire. The interim government said that attacks were carried out on Wednesday due to regular inflammatory comments made by Hasina to create instability in Bangladesh.

Sheikh Hasina is in India

An hour before Sheikh Hasina addressed her supporters from India, protesters started attacking the residence. Hasina left the country and moved to India on August 5 last year amid the agitation under the leadership of students, after which her 15 -year rule ended.

Late Friday night, another statement issued by Younus said that the interim leader called upon all citizens to “immediately restore complete law and order and ensure that on the properties associated with Hasina’s family and her supporters now There will be no attack. ” The statement came more than 24 hours after the attack on the building, from where Rahman announced independence from Pakistan in 1971.

Police was present on the spot

After this attack on Wednesday night, Hasina’s critics and student leaders campaigned throughout the day on social media. He announced to take out a bulldozer procession towards Rahman’s house, which was converted into a museum by Hasina. When the protesters attacked the building, the police was standing there. Later a team of soldiers tried to stop them, but then they left.
