Brazil G20 Summit PM Narendra Modi
PM Narendra Modi Brazil Visit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a tour of Brazil. On Monday he attended the G20 summit in Rio de Janeiro. In his address at the G20 session, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “First of all, I would like to congratulate President Lula for the grand arrangements made for organizing the G-20 Summit and for his successful chairmanship of the G-20. G-20 Summit in New Delhi It is a matter of great satisfaction that the people-centric decisions taken at the -20 Summit have been taken forward during Brazil’s Presidency…It is clear that One Earth, One Family, this. The summit is as relevant today as it was last year.”
‘Will reform the institutions of global governance’
Addressing the session, PM Modi said, “I would like to say that the countries of the Global South are most affected by the food, fuel and fertilizer crisis due to global conflicts. Therefore, our discussion can be successful only if we address the challenges of the Global South. And will keep priorities in mind.” And just as we gave a voice to the Global South by granting the African Union permanent membership of the G-20 during the New Delhi Summit, we will reform the institutions of global governance.”
PM Modi met Joe Biden
Earlier here, PM Modi met US President Joe Biden. While tweeting a picture with Biden, the Prime Minister wrote that it is always a pleasure to meet you. During this, PM Modi also met the heads of state of many countries including United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres.
