China’s PLA made a statement
Explain that amidst such global conditions, the Chinese Army People’s Liberation Army (PLA) said on Thursday that it is willing to work to implement a firm and stable defense relations with the Indian Army as well as a fair and justified solution to the border issue. Chinese National Defense Spokesperson Senior Colonel Wu Qian made this comment, responding to a question about the return and follow -up of soldiers from the Line of Actual Control (LAC) adjacent to East Ladakh at a press conference here. “The Chinese Army is ready to work closely with its Indian counterparts to implement a fair and just solution on the border issue of China,” Wu told reporters.
China wants to strengthen military relations with India
Explain that China is keen to improve military relations with India and strengthen them. Wu said that the Chinese army also would like to contribute to strengthening the cooperation and military relations between the Dragon (in terms of China) and the elephant (in terms of India). “The cooperation between the two countries has recently become a major topic in China as the two countries had compromised to back down the LACs from East Ladakh in October last year, after which there was also a long -standing relationship.
Stress was going on in India-China after violent clashes in Galwan Valley
The two countries had deteriorated since the violent clashes between India and China soldiers in the Galwan Valley in June 2020. But during the BRICS summit held in Russia last year, there were several high level meetings to normalize the relationship in addition to the meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping. After this, there have been many other high level meetings between India and China. Since then, relations between the two countries have started coming back on track again. The special thing is that China itself is keen to intensify relations with India.
